Important: To use this software, you must register and log in to the site. Otherwise you will not be able to change the numbers and analyze the data.
This software consists of three separate parts:
1- Data view: In the display area, you will be able to enter, edit, view and delete your desired data.
2-Analysis: The analysis section consists of two parts: 1. Germination indicators 2- Statistics (mean, standard error, analysis of variance, comparison of mean and ...)
3- User Manual: Use the web application for seed germination
A-1 You can use these menus to access the various parts of the software mentioned above.
A-2 Use the Inline Add option to add a record (one repetition of a treatment). See B for further details.
A-3. The number of records on this page, for example, is 1-50 and the total number of records is 81, for example. You can also use the drop-down menu to specify the number of records that can be displayed on each page. For more information, see section E.
A-4. In this section, you will be able to print the entered data. See F for further details.
A-5 is used to fully edit a record. See B for further details.
A-6 To select each record, you must click inside these squares. Some menus are activated by selecting these squares.
A-7. In the Treatment column, the name of each treatment is entered, which can include letters and numbers.
Note: At least three different treatments must be entered in the Data View section for analysis on the treatments. Otherwise, at the bottom of the Analysis Warning! Must be at least three treatments will be displayed and the user will be referred to the Data View page for editing and modifying treatments from the Analysis page.
amount of treatments should be equal to each other. For example, if in a
three-treatment plan, three replicates has been counted in 10 days, each
treatment should have a value of 30 records (count of times * count of
Replications) of the record.
Otherwise, at the bottom of the Analysis Warning! All Treatment will display
the same number of values and the user will be referred to the Data View
page for editing and modifying treatments from the Analysis page.
A-8. In the Replication column, the name of each replication is entered, which must be a number.
Note: At least two replays must be entered in the Data View section to perform the analysis. Otherwise, at the bottom of the Analysis Warning! Must have at least two replication will be displayed and the user will be referred to the Data View page for editing and modifying the replication from the Analysis page.
Note: The amount of repeat must also be equal to each other. For example, if in a three-treatment plan, three repetitions has been counted in 10 days of counting, each repetition must have 30 records (count of times * number of treatments). Otherwise, at the bottom of the Analysis Warning! All Replication must display the same number of values and the user will be referred to the Data View page for editing and modifying the treatments from the Analysis page.
A-9- In the Time column, a counting time is required that must be a number.
Note: At least two counting times must be entered in the Data View section for analysis. Otherwise, at the bottom of the Analysis Warning! Must Have At least Two Times will be displayed and the user will be referred to the Data View page for editing and modifying the replication from the Analysis page.
Note: Counting time must also be equal to each other. For example, if in a three-treatment plan, three repetitions has been counted in 10 days, each time of the count should have the value of 9 records (the number of treatments * number of replications). Otherwise, at the bottom of the Analysis Warning! All Time have the same number of values will be displayed and the user will be referred to the Data View page for editing and modifying the treatments from the Analysis page.
A-10 - Seed number: In this section, the total number of seeds is entered during seed counting. In a test unit (petri dish), the number of seeds may vary with the rest due to different causes (eg contamination).
A-11. Germinated seeds: The number of germinated is entered since the last counting time till now.
Note: Do not enter the number of cumulatively germinated seeds, otherwise the calculation will be done incorrectly.
A-12 - Any rectangle like a cell in Excel can store information. To change its contents, just click inside it and make changes. Upon leaving the cell, data is automatically stored.
B-1. After you click on the Inline Add option, as shown in Figure B, a row is added. After completing the information in the databases, the information will be stored in the database by clicking on Save all.
Note: You can click on this option several times and enter multiple records one by one.
B-2. If you want to save a record after creating and completing separately, click on the tick option and if you refuse to fill out and create this record, click on the circle icon.
B-3. You can enter the information by clicking on any tabs and noticing the mouse pointer. The red star indicates the mandatory field filling.
C-1 The Delete option is used to remove the selected records. This option will not be displayed until the record (s) have been selected.
C-2. To select each record, you can use the square in the left side. In the case of being ticked in the square, it indicates the selection of that record.
Note: To select all records within a page, you can click on the highest square in the first row.
D-1 Click to edit each cell within it and start editing. By leaving each cell, data is automatically saved.
Note: If the characters in the cells that only accept the number (for example, time), the data will not be saved and the message will be deleted.
E-1. Using the drop down list, you can specify the number of records that you want to display on each page.
F-1 To print all data, select the Print all pages option and click Print.
F-2. To print the data from this page, select the Print this page option and click Print.
F-3 To print the selected records, first select the records, then select the Print selected option and click on the Print option.
F-4 Specifies the number of prints to be printed on each page.
G-1. To edit the records, select them first and select Edit selected.
G-2. To download records, select them first and select Export selected.
G-3. To delete the records first, select them and select Delete selected.
G-4 Select Expert result to download the data. See H for further details.
G-5 Use the Import option to send data to Data view. For more information, see section I.
H-1 Select All records to insert all records in the output.
H-2- Select Current page only to insert only the current page's records in the output.
H-3 If you want the output of the records in Excel format, select Excel 2007.
H-4 If you want the output of the records in Word format, select the Word option.

The analysis section consists of two parts: 1. Germination indicators (Fig. M-1) 2. Statistics (mean, standard error, analysis of variance, mean comparison, etc.) (Fig. M-2).
M-1 In this section you can select one of the germination indicators to perform the analysis.
M-2 Data view and analysis section consists of three sections showing raw and calculated data (M-3), descriptive statistics of selected germination index (M-7), and statistical analysis of germination index (M-10).
M-3 Displays the raw data table for imported data (M-5) and the calculated germination table (M-6).
M-4. In this table, information is displayed on the level and amount of treatment, time and repetition. It is recommended that you check the table before checking the results and make sure the information is correct.
M-5 In the Raw data table, the information that the user entered in the data view is displayed in the form of a table.
M-6. In the Germination Indexes table, the germination indices are displayed for each treatment and repeat.
M-7. In this section, descriptive statistics (number, sum, mean, etc.) of the selected germination index are presented in general and treatments one by one.
M-8. In the table of descriptive statistics, sum, mean, sum of squares, variance, standard deviation and standard error, the average of the selected germination index is generally displayed.
M-9. In this table, descriptive statistics will be calculated for each separate treatment.
M-10. In this section, you can analyze the variance and compare the mean to the least significant difference on the selected germination index.
M-11 Select Analysis to perform the analysis of variance.
M-12- Choose the LSD 5% option for the average comparison with the minimum significant difference at the 5% level.
M-13- Select the LSD 1% option for the average comparison with the minimum significant difference at the 5% level.
M-14- After selecting the germination index and selecting at least one of the options in the Data view and Analysis section, click View Result to view the results.
N-1. If the data that was entered in the Data View (A-7, A-8, and A-9) is not met, instead of the Result View option, Data View will be activated and until the data is not corrected, the user is not allowed to achieve results.
N-2. If the data entered does not have the conditions specified in the Data view (A-7, A-8, and A-9), the program will guide the user with appropriate warnings.
